Hardy Tropicals NurseryWe warranty that we will send healthy plants true to name. If you have a problem with your order, please contact us immediately and email photos of the problem right away. Claims must be made upon opening your package which should be immediately upon receiving it and no later than 5 days from receiving your order.

Hardy Tropicals Nursery is not liable for more than the purchase price of a plant. We can be contacted by email, phone or discussion forum if there is a problem and you must contact us within this time frame to be considered. Once the plant enters your care you are responsible for it and must care for it and give it the proper cultural requirements necessary for it to thrive. We will do our best to provide information and answer every question on our discussion forums and in our catalog on how to do this.

Plants are living things and must be cared for immediately as such. Boxes of plants should not be kept in the sun at all and should be opened and put in the shade and watered if necessary. Unpack the plants if not immediately that same day and inspect them. Keep them in a shaded spot and acclimate from shipping to landscape and avoid setting plants out in the landscape right from the box. In certain climates it may be advised to grow on a mail order sized plant to a larger size before planting out in the lanscape. Don’t hesitate in asking any questions you have on our forums.

All plants one gallon or smaller are shipped in their pots unless otherwise noted. Larger plants may have the pot and loose soil removed but will likely also be shipped in their pots.

We are not shipping to USDA quarantine states or internationally at this time. If time permits we can do such an order and additional handling charges and phytosanitary inspection fees would apply.
